Doxycycline capsules is an alternative drug in the treatment of leptospirosis, gas gangrene and tetanus. Doxycycline capsules is indicated for prophylaxis in the following conditions: Scrub typhus, travellers’ diarrhoea (enterotoxigenic Escherichia coli), leptospirosis and malaria.
