CLARITEK (Clarithromycin), usually in a dose of 500mg twice daily, is given with another antibacterial and either a proton pump inhibitor or a histamine H2-receptor antagonist, for 7 to 14 days. In children with disseminated or localized mycobacterial infections (M. avium, M. Intracellulare, M.
